Is it possible to put a Three sim in an unlocked 3G Orange phone (and
vice versa - Orange 3G sim in unlocked Three phone)?

Of course, otherwise they'd be little point in having the phone
unlocked in the fist place, though some data services (wap etc) may
require special configuration.
You can also put a 2G SIM in an unlocked 3G phone and on
Vodafone/T-Mobile/Virgin etc receive 3G service (for some reason
Orange and O2 limit access to their 3G networks so an exisiting 2g SIM
will only give 2G service in a 3G handset, if you see what I mean).
