Hi,
I used to read this group in the days of Orange 'Boxed and Ready' deals, OVP
virgin and the like so I must admit to being slightly out of touch!
As my contract with 3 is nearly up and I don't use anywhere near the 500
minutes a month, I've been looking around for a cheap alternative. Today I
found the NEC 343i on O2 for £29.99 and thought that a combination of 100
minutes/texts along with 1mb of data seemed good for £10 a month, especially
seeing as I get to keep the £10 credit! The only problem is, in anticipation
of the phone's arrival tomorrow I started reading this group again and found
out about easymobile :-( I'm not sure it's actually a better deal apart from
the fact that I would literally be paying for what I use without feeling
like I need to top up each month to keep my freebies.
Any thoughts as to the service on easymobile? I see they do
WAP/data calls
but no
GPRS?? Anyone think I'm better off on the O2 tarriff if I'm likely to
use up the combo 100 mins/texts?
I guess if I decide to switch I can get the easymobile
SIM and unlock my new
handset - it can be done by entering a code if ebay's anything to go by.
Anyway, muddled rant over. I'll leave you all in peace for another 5 years
:-)
Rob
P.S. is the Orange number list still doing the rounds??
