p900 keypad problem

Hi all this is really urgent
All of sudden my sony erricson p900 got a problem
the problem is with keypad ..im not able to lock my keypad when it is
flip closed
i tried with control panel automatic keypad but thento this is not
working the expection



please help as im not getting the lock keypadin the menu item itself i
dont know the way out of this as keeping keypad open is a problem
especially when it is in pocket


Please help guys as nothing no net serch enginehad helped me

Have you tried updating your firmware via the SE website? Even if the
firmware is the same version on the website, forcing an update can sometimes
cure the odd problem.

Ya may be you are right
But have to forcefully do master setup
Ihad copied all my contacts in sim , but lost all my applications..

You need to backup the phone first. Even then I had one app which never did
not work correctly after a restore, and ended up deleting that app.

any way thanks for this as i said i have done the master set up and
that had just cleaned all my contacts and even the application
i wished that there were any another solution for this
