If your on Orange,o2.or Virgin Contracts with x-net minutes the SF dial
through access numbers 07744 97 4116, 4404,4333, etc etc etc allow you
to call 0845/0870 and freephone numbers.

Are these numbers classed as 'inclusive' for BT mobile?

How do these numbers work?
Do I dial the number then the 0800 number, or do I just substitute the
last four numbers?

Cheers
Mark

Unfortunately, I'm on 3 and those numbers result in a recorded message
advising me that I will be charged at my normal rate...i.e. not part of
x-net minutes!

Which is why it perhaps says if your on Orange,o2.or Virgin?

However if your on o2, there is no need as 0800/0845/0870 etc come out of
you standard mins and are charged at normal rates afterwards

I sent an email to BT and asked:-
"...could you tell me if calls to 077449
numbers are classed as inclusive minutes on my tariff."
They answered:
"I can confirm that all
mobile networks are included in your inclusive minutes."
This isn't really very categorical - is a 077449 number classed as a
mobile?

Further, I asked why charges for calls (only a small amount) were not
itemised - they amswered:-
"Also I can confirm that the calls which you have been charged for
where premium rate calls and are listed under personal numbering."

What they mean by this I don't know. I can't find details of the call
anywhere. They may be telling me that a number I called belonged to
personal numbering or that it is in a list somewhere on my bill - well
I can't find it. I get the feeling that there isn't itemisation or it
only occurs on calls above a cetain level. Either way I don't like it.
For the amount they are charging for the tariff I would expect the
bill to be fully itemised and for it to come printed in gold!

I can't even make a test call to the 077449 number and find out if it
is chragable if they are not itemising the calls. The word 'crap'
springs to mind.

Either way, you'll not get a definitive answer. Basically, mobile phone
numbers (those prefixed 077, 078, 079) are included in inclusive minutes.
On all mobile tariffs by all network operators, the terms and conditions
allow the mobile operator to start charging for numbers not used as
expected. This not only includes mobile phone numbers, but also landline
numbers.
