If you're doing an MSc, I would have thought you'd need to justify your
choice of 'leader' with some facts, such as turnover, margin, market share
etc. Get access to industry/finance sources and do some research!

And then there is the concept of "leader" itself - are we talking about
best customer service, greatest coverage, most innovative - or just
the boring stuff like greatest turnover, highest profitability, highest
shareholder dividend, most subscribers? I suspect that there will be
7 different answers there.
I used to use a half-duplex VHF car radio service called "Aircall" back
in the 1970s. They would answer the phone in your company name, give
out job numbers and appointments, provide secretarial services and
hotel bookings, and pass messages to the mobile. If you were in a
different 'zone' they would even trace you down with selective calling
tones. Not one of the modern cellular companies can offer the range of
services and satisfaction we got from aircall. Oh, and I could call my
wife from the van too.

ya thanks for that . But it is in the same old style of literature and
report writing styles that we need to give out our report. It should be
in terms of customer base, market share, etc and as you guessed it rite
we need to justify it.
thanks.

Leader? Well, if you arrange the alphabetically, the leader is
probably 3, and Vodafone is last.
If you arrange them by how long they're been around, it is the other
way round.
If you arrange them by one or more of:
the number of lines in use,
the number of company users,
the number of contracts
the number of PAYG users
the number of subscribers,
the number of calls,
the number of text messages,
the incoming calls,
the revenue,
the average revenue per user (ARPU)
the gross profit,
the net profit,
the customer growth,
the technical innovation,
the services offered,
the call quality,
the call reliability,
the call completion rate,
the call setup rate,
the network coverage in geographic terms,
the network coverage in geographical terms,
the number of employees.... and loads more
you can order them how you like.
I'd have thought that if you are doing an MSc you ought to have a
better idea of what you are asking about than your wording suggests.
