VK530 reboots when entering SMS Inbox

My wife has a VK530 (VK Mobile) on Vodafone Contract, every time she enters
the SMS Inbox it reboots (powers off and on).

Anyone had this?

I suspect either the Inbox or the firmware is corrupted and could be sorted
out in a Vodafone store but comments are welcome.
