XDA Atom: anyone know a release date?

Dear all,
The XDA Atom caught my eye on the front page of the international O2 XDA
website: http://www.seeo2.com/. Does anyone know if it will be released in
the UK; and if so, when? Called up O2, they have no clue!

I was in Thailand over Xmas and New Year and the Atom has only just
reached the equivalent of Tottenham Court Road in Bangkok in the last
week or so. It looked lovely in the flesh though personally I would
put up with an extra 5mm or so in either height and width for a
slightly larger screen

I suspect it will be a few months before we see it in the UK.

Dunno about the UK, but its been released in Australia.

This is quite remarkable when you think about it, as O2 doesn't
actually have a business in Australia. But it's nice to know they're
selling their handsets there before they sell 'em in the UK - and at
AU$1,229, such a competitively low price, too.
