Cheapo (but not bad) SIM card readers from ALDI at £7.99

BUT it won't read Virgin or 3G cards ........ get a couple of pints
instead !!

Got one of these on Thursday and it works just fine.

It does say on the packaging that it does not read 3G SIM cards !

Yep might do .... states on packaging ref 3G cards but not Virgin that
ALL my family has :-|

It will read a Tmobile and Virgin which are the same really. It doesn't do
3G as stated clearly!
Did you have a couple of pints first?

No Mike ..... I have tried 3 virgin cards and it read none of them. I
did read a Vodafone sim.

Clearly faulty ..... I will take it back tomorrow.

the ringtone section etc?

A SIM card cannot store anything other than names and numbers.
