Can these be unlocked either at home with a cable or by an unlocker?

At £10 delivered from Orange it's got to be worth having as a spare.

Thanks, it sounds a bit risky with hardware needing to be altered. May
    just leave it on Orange

Apparantly the A62 requires a track to be cut on the pcb inside the
phone as part of the unlocking process - unless of course you know
    different ?

Yes, for home unlocking, if it's the same as the A60, it needs a very
tiny piece of PCB track to be cut before unlocking with a cable and
    computer program.

I guess if it is being professionally unlocked this would not be
    needed.

Nice reply. A simple 'yes it is' as per Jon's reply would suffice.

Why thank you, yes I did.

I also trust that anyone else reading this newsgroup will take the off
hand remark into consideration when considering a 'bespoke
professional solution' for unlocking their phone when dealing with
    www.gsm-solutions.co.uk or www.thephonelocker.co.uk

    Oh yes. Nearly forgot. ;-)

And I have been around here for a number of years as well with

I am aware of his knowledge. It was his attitude that I found

Really? Some of us don't see any need to hide behind an alias (especially
ever changing ones) and prefer to offer correct advice rather than guesses.

There was no attitude intended in my original post. If you would like to
attribute an attitude to it, then that's your prerogative, but personally I
think you're being way to touchy.

Fine. Suit yourself but I don't think you have endeared yourself or
your business by you off hand manner in this thread.
