Costs to call Tesco Value/EasyMobile

I'm interested in the Tesco Value and EasyMobile tariffs. Can anyone quote
what the costs are to call one of these from a BT line (or what is the
number prefix, 07xxxx)? Are they like normal O2/T-Mobile numbers, or do
they cost more for callers?

Also, anyone succeeded in persuading Orange to clone one of these tariffs on
the Orange Value Promise (I suspect not, but it's worth a try)?

Thanks
Theo

Re: Costs to call Tesco Value/EasyMobile

BT have only 7 chargebands for calling UK mobiles

The original 5 were listed alphabetically i.e.

FM1 BT Cellnet (now o2)
FM2 Dolphin (now defunct, but 07744 etc numbers still in use)
FM3 One 2 One (now T-Mobile)
FM4 Orange
FM5 Vodafone

FM6 is 3

Not sure why they've added FM7, but costs are the same as FM3 (have
they decided to list Virgin separately?)

Answer to your q therefore is that costs from a BT line are currently
the same for ringing virtuals as for the underlying carrier.

Always assuming it isn't a ported number. My Tesco number was originally
on Orange and so will be charged at that rate from a landline.

Thanks. Another question, regarding these services and phone locking: is
the phone locked to the virtual or the underlying carrier? So can I use a
Tesco Value SIM in a Tesco or O2 locked phone, or a T-Mobile SIM in a
EasyMobile phone?

Do EasyMobile do handsets? Didn't think they did. Anyway, I know Tesco
phones are locked to Tesco only, so an O2 SIM won't work in it. Don't
know if the Tesco SIM works in an O2 handset though.

The Tesco sim certainly works in unlocked handsets

OK, I should have said O2 locked handsets. I use a Tesco SIM in an
unlocked Orange handset myself.
