Just a thought, but do you have 3g coverage in your area? Apart from 3 i
think all the other networks coverage is pretty ropey

Not sure - I'm about a mile south of manchester city centre.
Having said that, I dont have a 3g phone yet, but am expecting a
globetrotter fusion datacard over the next couple of days.
