I'd keep the 6280. It is indeed a series 40 phone, which means that it's
fast, stable and has an intuitive, familiar interface - unlike the painfully
slow, bloated series 60 operating system. You won't be able to run any other
applications, but if you want a phone that's a phone, and not a pretend-
PDA,
it's ideal.
