#1 | | Guest | I'm thinking of selling a Sony Ericsson k700i 'tri band' as new, its
immaculate and comes with the genuine SE leather case and mains charger,
unlocked (not locked to a specific network) . Any idea what it will fetch?

It's not new, it's just in very good condition, for second-hand selling.

Just go on eBay, search for k700i then choose "completed items" and you will
see what they are currently going for.

What it will fetch depends on what a buyer wants to pay. Given that
these were £45 brand new from Argos a few months ago, complete with
warranty, I'd suggest that £30 or so is not a bad price.
However, you may find someone willing to pay too much if you advertise
it well on eBay.

Its new. Never used. It still has all the protective sticky plastic covers
on it, still in its original packaging, its never made a call..... I could
never be bothered pissing about setting it up and learning how to drive the
new phone so stayed with my old one which incidently is an old nokia. The
K700i has got loads of features I don't need and would never use. I only
use a phone as a phone. Don't need the camera, video, music player, radio
etc..

Well why word your post as if it's not actually new? Why say 'it's
immaculate' - I would hope so if it's a new phone.

It was the "selling ... as new" bit which made me think it wasn't new.

Well it's not just me then... One tends to be over cautious when reading of
people who are going to sell phones on ebay.

Who said anything about Ebay? I was just asking the question of how much a
K700i would fetch these days.
Why bring Ebay into the equation?
