phone unlock code

Hi,
I want to change the phone unlock code - does anyone know what the default
is on a K750? I've tried 0000 but it's wrong.

I'm trying to format the memory card but I can't do it without the code.

Thanks,

JOanne

The default for the K750 is 0000 ... so if that doesn;t work I suggest that
it has been changed.

The best think to do is take/post it to an unlocker and they will be able to
either read the code for you, or reset it to default.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. I took it to the carphonewarehouse and they said they
could flash it for free but it would need to be sent off and it would take
2-3 weeks.

Would taking it to an unlocker be ok? I got my k700 unlocked from t-mobile
at the weekend and had to spend ages trying to upgrade firmware (although
it said it failed and then to retry but when I did it said the firmware is
up to date - is this ok?) before it would work with an O2 sim without
crashing.

Yes, it will update fine with and good unlocker.

You may not be able to use the SE update service afterwards though because,
for example, if your phone is Vodafone, and an unlocker puts unbranded
firmware on, when you use the update service it may reput the Vodafone
firmware on it.

If you're getting it flashed I'd request the unlocker to upgrade to a W800i,
it's not more extra work so should cost the same, then you'll get a better
walkman.

Thanks - I've got my k750 flashed and the phone unlock code is now reset and
everything works great.

However, the guy said he wouldn't be able to do anything for my K700. It's
camera no longer works after doing the firmware upgrade - it says the
camera software is out of date (exact message is "wrong camera driver
version (3.9). Please update camera driver to 3.10 or later). Is there
anything I can do to upgrade the driver?

Thanks,
Joanne

A flash should upgrade all the software including theat for the software.
You shouldn't flash seperately.

I'd send it for a reflash, or get teh guy to flash it again

Does everything else work?
