And I suspect you didn't read the story. It clearly states that the
current management will remain in place.
Furthermore, Virgin will be the largest stakeholder (if I've read it
correctly), and I can't for one moment believe that Sir Richard would
allow the virgin brand to be tarnished by poor service.
NTL will be paying a minimum of £8.5 million to use the Virgin Brand.
I'm sure there would be a stipultion that failure to uphold the highest
standards of customer service would result in the loss of the right to
use the name.
Richard Branson is an astute businessman...
Still, if customer service goes down or is prices rise, then I'll use
up my remaining credit and go elsewhere. I'm loyal to no brand.
