You have to use a different code to top-up with a foreign top-up voucher...
*144*<O2 or other Starmap top-up card code>#
The O2 card should still have its value as you used *122*...# with a
number that didn't mean anything to the system.

I can remember there are two options to set the language, one in the
voicemail (also sets the language of the message other people here when
they call your number and you don't answer) and one is 232 which sets
everything else. But now I use Vodafone I can't remember the exact steps.
The company I work for uses Amena, I'll see if I can get hold of a phone
on Tuesday and post another reply back if I can.

Thanks Dan. My voicemail is already English I think (done at time of
purchase by the assistant) but I'd like to know how to change 232. In fact,
I'd still like to know how to change voicemail to English too, in case I
ever need to do it again.

Nice one! That's worked. Shame they keep that info so secret though. I
couldn't see it mentioned on O2 or Amena's sites.
Thanks,
Fred.

Here are the buttons you need to press:
232 card services -> 2 (main menu) -> 4 (change language)
then press:
1 Spanish / 2 English / 3 Catalan / 4 Galician / 5 Basque
then press:
8 (confirm) / 9 (cancel)
242 voicemail -> 4 (personalise) -> 1 (general options) -> 8 (language)
then press:
1 Spanish / 2 Catalan / 3 Basque / 4 Galician / 5 English
then press:
# (confirm) / * (cancel)
