Memory problem

I have a nokia 6230 and am having a bit of a problem. I've just tried to
send an mp3 via bluetooth to it from a samsung D500 but it says there's
insufficient memory. I've deleted all sent/received texts, unwanted pics etc
but it's still saying it. I've also tried to send the mp3 to my n-gage after
I swapped the memory cards over and I've got the same message.

Do you think I need to format the memory card and start again?

Hey Netty,

I far as i know most (all?) Nokia phones actually use the internal
phone memory for recieving files by bluettoth not the memory card
therefore even if you format the card you'll probably still encounter
the same problem as the phone memory doesn't sound like it has enough
space for the mp3. You could try and make more space on the phone
itself i guess but personally i'd transfer the file to the phone with
either the phone data cable or a card reader.
