Can someone please be so kind to advise?
I have been on contract with Orange for 11 years but I now want to port over
to T-Mobile.
My existing contract ends on 22nd June. Can you please tell me when and how
I give notice to Orange and how long does it take to transfer my number to
T-Mobile?
Thanks very much,
Tony Heath.

Call them on 23/06 and get a PAC - take it to T-Mobile. The port will
follow, perhaps within a week or so (did for me). Orange refund to
follow for rental charged in advance, minus any unbilled call charges.

you need to give 30days notice to cancel your contract so id give em a
ring on 22/5.

I think you would be best giving your notice before the end of your
contract.
T-Mobile are offering 25% discount on line rental at the moment!

Phone Orange and ask for your PAC. You can do this at any time although
if you want to terminate early you will need to pay the rest of it off.
Give your PAC to T-Mobile, the transfer takes 7 days.

I second that - they are gonna bill you for the last 30 days anyway, so
you might as well have the PAC/give notice 30 days prior to the
contract end date.
You can either use the PAC straight away or within the 30 day validity
- but once given to T-Mobile, your Orange number will port across 7
days later.

Re: Terminating Orange Contract
25% lifetime discount on FlexT and Relax tariffs (available direct and
via T-Mobile direct shops) ends on April 30th I believe, so, as
mentioned above, it may well be worth paying off your Orange Contract
early and getting your PAC immediately. If you're interested, I think
Web'n'Walk (£7.50 per month normally) is also on 25% discount at
T-Mobile shops.
Like you, I have recently left Orange for T-Mobile, after nearly 10
years with Orange!
