Orange 'missed call' SMSs corrupt?

I have now received 6 SMS messages from Orange over the last few days
that contain the message "The contents of this message cannot be
displayed". I am pretty sure they are missed call alerts - anyone else
seeing this?

I'm getting these too. Coincided with switch to new handset (SPV M600)
so assumed that was the problem.

I had a few a while back, but didn't think they were missed calls. Was
there an origination number?

missed call alerts are plain text.


you can test, turn yer fone off, then ring it. turn it on n c if u get a
msg.


MCA's can be turned off in 123.

Bonus points to him though, the post did fit in 160 characters. I'm sure
that's a vital skill in a medium such as Usenet which doesn't start to hit
any sort of limits until about 60,000 characters.
