Ok, let's take the current situation. You are running a business, you are
about to lay off 2000 employees, you have stakeholders and shareholders to
satisfy, you have to keep the french happy, and you have a marketing
department that is out of control coming up with a new idea every months as
if they are going out of fashion -------- You receive a complaint e-mail
from a 'nobody'. Ummmmmmmm, let me see, i wonder what his/ her PA will
do ------DELETE/ TRASH CAN/ JUNK MAIL, take your pick.
Don't waste your time mate.

Don't be so negative; if anything it is more likely to work due to the fact
they'll be paranoid over customer opinion.

I don't think they give a damn, considering the way they've run what was
once a good company into the ground.

Re: Orange Chef Exec office address
Orange enthusiastically got into bed with a huge number of cowboy
"reverse-SMS-charge" operators and now are reaping what they sowed.
I had three separate contracts over a three year period and on each
account I had to spend lots of £'s chasing up fraudulent charges
applied to those accounts by Orange. The initial response from CS was
always the same "you must have subscribed to the service, it's your
problem" and it was only when I escalated the complaint to their Exec
Office that they conceded that they could provide no evidence that I
was liable for the charges and "there has been an administrative
error".
The usual response is that I'm using a recycled number and the previous
owner of the number subscribed to such services.
Yeah yeah.
You couldn't pay me to go within a thousand miles of an Orange phone
(PAYG or contract) again.
I hope the useless ****ers go under.

Going from joint 1st, to 4th (last) place for new subscribers in only 3
years

Unlikely. Orange are making a fortune.

Ah, that'd be why they feel the need to keep cutting services and
shedding staff.
Or perhaps France Telecom are not as well funded or well managed as
they might be.
Frankly, I doubt that Orange is in such a good state. If they are
making a profit, it'll be by elbowing the dealers out of the market
and not spending any money on the network. Both are longer term
disasters, but FT don't care.

Indeed. 30-odd billion Euro in debt or something isn't it?

I don't have the figures, but I bet they did. They were also incredibly
innovative and introduced an amazing number of good features such as
Wildfire, Line 2, free 0800 etc., most of which have disappeared under the
current "management" (if that's what you call it).

Why not..?

inclusive airtime, charging by the second, cheap international calls,
cheaper incoming calls, SMS, CLI
Some of these have become standard across the board, others have gone.
