Got a Spv C500

I've got one of these phones which is now out of contract but one of my kids
would like to use it.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction for instructions on how to
unlock it myself if its possible.
It is on Orange still and I also have another contract phone with orange in
case that helps but he wants to use his 02 payg 300 text sim in it.

If it unlocks will he still be able to use the features on the phone?

Can I do it or is it complicated, if I bring it to an unlocking stall
how much would it cost and how long would it take.
