I have attempted to unlock a Nokia 6230 using
www.trycktill.com/unlock_swe.asp I normally have no problems with this nad
have unlocked dozens over the last couple of years...this ones causing me
grief...I used code number 7 and it came up and said Phone restrictions
off.... great i thought - I tried my vodafone sim in it - ok I tried a
virgin sim in it - OK. My problem being its for use on O2 and when I put in
an o2 sim it doesnt give you the invalid sim message It lets you use the
phone as if there is a valid sim in it but there is no signal and when you
dial a number it says no network coverage. I then tried unlocking it again
using code number 1 - it said phone is not restricted and the same using
code number 5 - I still cant get a o2 sim to work in it - does any one have
any ideas???

The phone is unlocked, the SIM is suspect or the handset may be
blacklisted on O2.
