I know that hash codes (using the * and # keys) can be used on GSM phones to
set up and access various services. For example *#06# will usually find the
    phones IMEI number.

Are these standard across all network operators, at least in the UK?

Does anyone have a list of them or can they point me in the right direction.

Otherwise does anyone know the codes for changing the delay or number of
rings before a phone diverts to voice mail on a Vodafone network.
    Thanks Dave

To quote from their help page:

"You can extend the ringing time before your calls go to Voicemail in
multiples of 5 seconds up to a maximum of 30 seconds.

    You simply need to dial:

**61*(mailbox no in international format) *10* (no. of seconds)# send

To get your mailbox number simply dial
    *#104# send

    International format includes +44"

Except this is all well and good, but I couldn't get it to work. It
added an extra 0 or + or something (can't remember which) to the front
of the mailbox number and so whenever it diverted people got "number
unobtainable". Several calls to Customer Services later, they set it
up for me how I wanted, but haven't fixed the tool I think. I wish
they would make it easy to change this via an option on voicemail or
    something.

Thanks Paul. Tried this also but it didn't work for me either.
Do you know if these codes are valid across networks or just Voda specific.
