SE 750i email problems and general

I used to have the SE 700i, and the only thing (apart from the joystick
that annoyed everyone) that was a problem was that if I wrote an email
over a certain number of characters (I can't remember what that number
was), saved it then went back to it, some of it would be missing. So it
only ever saved the first part of the email, although if I wrote it all
then sent it without saving first, it would actually send everything.
Does anyone know if the 750i has that problem or not please?

Also, is there anything about the 750i that is inferior to the 700i? The
main thing I used to love about it was the way I could listen to MP3's
and email or text at the same time, which my new Samsung D500 won't let
me do. The D500 also won't even let me skip through MP3's. I'll look up
the exact specifications myself later so I'm not asking for that, I'm
just asking for general opinions on if there was anything particular
about the 700i that people miss with their 750i.

Many thanks,
Geoff.

I wrote a few long emails and saved them, they were fine and saved
correctly.

The k750i is much better than the k700i in all respects, and it does seem SE
have fixed a load of issues evident in the k700i!

You can skip through mp3 files no problem.

There's only one thing I would say; the w800i is very similar to the k750i,
except the useful (to me) activity button, but has a much better
implementation of an mp3 player, as you can switch the phone on wiht just
the mp3 player (ie: no phone signal etc required, as the 'phone' part of it
isn't on!)

I'd go for either though personally, remember that the w800i accepts normal
everyday headphones, the k750i does not, but an adapter can be bought which
will allow this.

Thanks for all that Taylor. I can't really afford the extra for the
w800i, otherwise I'd got for it. I'm not too bothered about activity
button but the standard headphone socket sounds like a good idea. I've
read the joystick is better on the w800i. Maybe I should dig a bit
deeper into my pockets? Well I wrote another thread to discuss more on
this so I'll take a look at replies to that now.

Cheers,
Geoff.
