found a number once that allowed me to ring a mobile at 1p a minute but
never realised it was for 'abroad' mobiles as when I tried to ring my
daughter who was abroad at the time it wouldn't allow the call but gave
another number at 15p a minute.
so it knew my daughter was a UK phone.
so can I ring her on that phone today free with Easymobile? even though
she's half way across the world she never changed her phone from being a
UK one.

Generally speaking phone a UK mobile from the UK is the same price, no
matter where the mobile is physically located. The person receiving the call
pays the difference.

Have you actually had an e mail, or are you just going on what you've read
here?

er yes because her number will start +44 7...
which means it is a UK phone!

sorry JB had to go out
yes I had an e mail and also a text, unfortunately I am such a sad
person I don't have a soul to phone today except my daughter abroad and
she is switched off. I will ring someone though just to see if it really
is free. I sent a text to myself earlier but the web site doesn't update
the balance sometimes for 24 hours so can't really check it out.

Hi Phil, can't be sure this was it in the bargaiin group by a poster
called "welcome" back in January, someone else posted about the same
time and I can't remember which one I used but I know it wouldn't let
bme get through at 1p to my daughter's phone, it gave me another number
iirc
