question on unlocking

I have a mobile that is locked and would like to know if the procedure and
links shown below are a
sound method of unlocking a mobile from a nw.

Possible to unlock via codes, depending on make and model (i.e. most old
nokias). Other phones need a cable, others need specific hardware, others
cannot be unlocked at all.

What make/model are you wanting to unlock?

Right, there are no free unlockers by code for this handset.

You can buy a data cable (£10?) and download some software, and do it
yourself. I forget the name of teh cable/software as we never use it, but it
is there, do a search.

Or just pay someone to do it for you. If you get a 3rd party to do it they
could also upgrade the firmware to make it a W800i.
