SMS sends 2 texts each time when only 1 typed

Hi,

My g/f has a Motorola V365 on Vodafone, and whenever she uses the "reply"
function to reply to an incoming text, the outgoing text sends as 1 of 2,
then 2 of 2. This happens even if she only types a few characters, although
only 1 text (the one she typed) is found in the "sent" box. But it charges
for 2, and the same message is recieved twice by the recipient.

If she sends the same text by entering the same message, then choosing a
recipient from the phonebook, it sends it as 1 text, and is only recieved
once by the recipient.

We've been through all the settings and can't see anything that could
possibly be causing this.

Any help would be most appreciated, thanks!

You might find that the message is quoting all of your text as well in
the reply, I beleive this is a "feature" of some of the moto's, you
should be able to turn this off though. If that isn't the case then
you need to call vodafone who will be able to double check and make
sure that only 1 message is being sent each time, unless you're on
payt then you'll know it's sending 2 by the credit left.
