Thanks for that. Yeah, my access was from a bog-standard GPRS session,
which still has no such restrictions.
(Using my laptop as a router, I was using it to support building a brand
new machine for a relative before it could be moved anywhere near a phone
line - and he's on dialup. Running AV updates and Windows Update over
this link was, let's just say, interesting. Latency sucked, but once a
transfer was running it was actually faster than his dialup.)
