Orange PAYG £1 unlimited GPRS, limited

Notice that Orange have retricted their PAYG £1 unlimited internet on PAYG
to 25Mb. Nothing on the website but if you look at the terms and condtions
on Orange World it tells you all!

Haven't spotted that before!

Tim

Hi.

I thought this 25MB usage limit was only for the 3G Orange World Daily
Access.

The Orange Extras terms and conditions can be found here:
http://www1.orange.co.uk/service_pla...tra_terms.html

Orange World Access Daily:

"Orange World Access Daily
1. Orange World Access Daily provides up to one day's unlimited
browsing for £1.
2. Orange World Access Daily can only be used in the UK. Any GPRS or
CSD use outside of the UK will be charged at the relevant current
international rates.
3. Orange World Access Daily is not available on 3G phones.
4. The Orange Extras terms and conditions also apply. These should be
viewed at www.orange.co.uk or a copy is available from your local
Orange shop."

Orange World Access Daily 3G:

"3. To ensure the fair allocation of network resources for all
customers the Extra is subject at all times to a fair usage level of
25Mb per day and is not to be used for other activities such as modem
access for computers, non-Orange internet based streaming services,
voice or video over the internet, instant messaging, peer to peer file
sharing, non-Orange internet based video. Should the customer exceed
this limit or if such use is detected, notice may be given and Network
protection controls may be applied to all services which Orange does
not believe constitutes mobile browsing. This may result in actions
such as the inability to purchase the Extra on future occasions, a
reduced speed of transmission, and at the discretion of Orange,
suspension of account"

It only seems to mention the usage limit for the 3G Orange World Access
extra, not the GPRS one.

Scott.

I can understand having a fair usage limit on a monthly deal so that people
don't just leave video streaming when they are in bed, but unlimited for a
day should mean just that - why don't marketeers at Telco's understand plain
English or is complete fallibility inbred or part of the training?

Hi.

Access.

No distinction between 2g and 3g on the WAP site of Orange World when you
look at the T&Cs.
