I have a mail form on my website for a specific reason, so I don't have to
publish an address on the site that can be harvested by spambots. It sends
an email to a specific address that tells me where the message is from.
At the end of the day I get an email if someone fills in the form, so it's
almost the same to the person sending the message and identical to me.

Yes, quite a few people do. As would you if you had any sense and/or
manners.
