I have just acquired a call back roaming
sim card for use when on
holidays in Europe. The company selling it (sim4world.com) pointed out
quite rightly that it asn't fully compatible with SE P910i as to make a
call one has to enter numbers thus *125*1*[international format
number]# . Callback follows more or less instantly if this method is
used. Unless numbers are entered this way the phone screen goes blank
and requires battery removal to restart. I assume that the
sim uses
some form of network code to trigger redial. Apparently many phones
will allow dialling from contacts to trigger callback directly when
using this
sim without need for special dialling.
I am looking for a software solutionn that will enter these codes for
me and allow dialling from contacts. Anyone have any ideas? Can
anyone explain what is actually happening when these network codes are
sent?
