No, not the one where they charge you £15. They had one where if you
topped up £15 you got 500 free sms (like O2 & Orange)

I think it has been replaced by the free weekend calls an text (free if
you spend £5 in a week that is.)

    Why not Orange?

    Orange do

    £10 = 300 SMS
    £20 = 600 SMS
    £30 = 1000 SMS

    o2 is awful!

I don't know about o2's tarrifs now on PAYG, but the oldies were certainly
excellent, 300 texts and 1mb GPRS for a top-up of £10 a month, which you
could then spend on GPRS, calls, whatever takes your fancy.

I do believe now you also have the option of mixing and matching calls and
texts, by being given 300 'units' instead.

I wouldn't bother with vodafone for PAYG, unless you've got cash.

    pleased

If you have one of the sims registered before the change you still get
    the mix you want.

I take the 100 min calls or text, then buy bolt ons with the £10 I get
20% back every 3 months, effectively making my monthly outlay £8. I then
    claim the treats on offer.

    Currently I'm running 120 X-net minutes, 50 Text and 3MB O2 Active for
my £8. This suits my needs at the moment.

I'm just about to add the free xnet calls from home for two months Sat,
Sun, Mon. Ok its only for two month and limited to 500 min, but it will
save me the time to use elsewhere

    Hi Xeonwales,

I work for Vodafone and can offer some informal advice.

The 500 sms for £15 promotion ended on 30th June 2006.

However, you can sign up for our monthly newsletter to be one of the
first to hear about the latest offer, promotions and handsets.

    Please visit

    I hope this helps.
