Which is the 'considered' best mobile DEVICE for receiving email, apart from
the Blackberry?
Many thanks

It seems that the Blackberry is still by far the best device for that
unfortunaly. The Nokia E61 can do push email too. I haven't tried it but
have read that it's push email client wasn't quite ready for prime time yet
with many features missing or not working properly. A real shame since it's
an otherwise amazing device. This might hopefully be fixed in a future
software update. As for Windows Mobile devices, i'm not too sure of what
the story is for them but you might get more info on this forum:

Virtually any phone can do that these days. You're going to need to give
a bit more info than that.

I refer the honourable gentleman to the OP's subject line where he
states "email-push"

Personally I use a Treo 650 with Chatteremail (www.chatteremail.com).
Works very well. Only real issue I have with it is that it cannot
quote properly when hitting reply.

I assumed that the OP wanted the Blackberry service but you're right, he
didn't say. For other push-email services or if you're not a "power-user"
using all the advanced features of Blackberry, then the Nokia E61 might do
just fine. If you want to see how it Blackberry looks like on it:
