am on the above (online PAYG) however, although I can send and receive text
messages, there is an exception in that I cannot receive texts from a
friend in the USA.

If said friend sends text to my son's mobile (which is on a different UK
network) there is no problem so it must be network specific to O2.

Has anybody else encountered this problem or know of a solution please?
