Can anyone tell me the closest Nokia upgrade centre in St Albans
(Herts.)?
I would like to get my wife's Three N70 updated. Preferably where I can
wait and get it done instead of sending off a phone for a week or two.
Also one in London would be okay as I visit every now and again so could
kill time waiting an our or so when in the city to get it done.
Thanks very much.

You can do a search from this page on Nokia's website:

Whatever you do, stay away from Intec Cellular in Barnet. I have had a
whole load of problems ranging from shoddy customer service to just
plain stupidity from them.
Not meaning to hijack this thread, but if anyone has an alternative to
them, in my case one that I can post a phone to them and get it
returned within the week, that would be great!

Thanks very much for the links. Phoned St Albans vendor and he said
fine, just bring it in - no probs as there is no charge as under
warranty! Phoned Luton vendor and he said fine, just bring it in - but
there is a £20 charge even if under warranty as phone not having
problems. Funny...I thought it was a free update if within the year
warranty.

That would be great if true. Any way to confirm this?

Quote from manual Manufactures Limited Warranty
Twenty Four (24) months for the mobile device and twelve (12) months for
accessories.
Should be easy to check at a Nokia service centre.

St Albans Nokia centre were very friendly and helpful. The bloke did
indeed tell me that it was 24 months on the phone, so that confirms it
;-)
Thanks

I thought it was 6 months for accessories, or is that just batteires?
Or has that changed too?
My barely 14 months old 8800 is only 12 months guarantee according to
Intec. If they've not honoured a two year guarantee that I am supposed
to have for that phone, I shall never be using them again!
