Does anyone know if (by hook or by crook) it is possible to do a reverse
search on a UK mobile telephone number (assuming it is not ex-directory)?

    Mike.

    Are you police? Then yes.

    Otherwise, no.

Well, I know that such searches are indeed available to non-LEOs (for
instance, the old BT Phone Disc used to have a "patch" that allowed user to
do this), but what I was fishing for was information on where to look. Not
entirely legal I already know, but I'm sure we're not all whiter-then-white
    here

    It's possible, but not legal.

You may not be, but if you expect anyone here to openly assist you in
    breaking the law, think again.

Is that why you're hiding behind a pseudonym and not using your real name,
I wonder..? Not to worry, it's possible to do reverse lookups on IP
    addresses also.

In case you're new at email tracing (I'm an old hand at it as it is part of
my job), I'll help you out:

My ISP is NTL and my node location is Birkenhead. The IP number you need to
be interested in is this one: 81.110.11.24

An just FYI, Mike is my real name. I have done absolutely nothing illegal
(yet). The nearest thing to any kid of abuse I suppose is assuming that you
are a complete tit, but going by your previous posts I doubt very much my
assumption is incorrectan. I would wager it is actual fact.

Oh, and in case you want to report this message, the abuse dept is
[email protected] My advice to you kid is don't bother. I haven't
actually done anything here that goes against the NTL TOS, but please do
feel free to waste your time.

Now crawl back to your pathetic little cave and don't bother me again.

    Cheers,

    Mike.

Vigilante..? Who, me..? Not at all. I just stated you will be unlikely to
find anyone here willing to assist you in doing anything illegal.

BTW my father is dead, why are you calling me son..?

Ah, abuse. It'll be foul language next.

Time spent doing something you enjoy is never wasted :-)

Although I can't be bothered in your case.

    Ah, more abuse.

BTW if you're bothered, that's your problem. I'm not bothered at all..!
