I have just purchased a K-JAM pda which will not save a partnership
with my Landrover Discovery 3 built-in Bluetooth kit, the pda
recognises the car kit and has actually allowed me to use the hands
free on a couple of occasions, however once I turn off the engine and
walk away from the vehicle the partnership is lost.
I understand the vehicle bluetooth system can support up to 4
partnerships, could it be that I need to delete the stored
partnerships, if so this could be a problem as I no longer have the
previous phone available to cancell the partnership.
The Landrover web site does list phones that are compatible with their
kit but this is not comprehensive, listing common Nokia mobiles etc, as
I have on occasions managed to connect I don't think it is a problem
that can't be solved.
My phone Bluetooth settings are:
Complient V1.1
Class 2 transmitt power
Can anybody help?
