No Signal Orange PAYG

Hi,

Was hoping to get this sorted before I go away tomorrow, so if anyone can
help it would be greatly appreciated. Orange CS is useless.

I have a PAYG sim which I got for free from some offer a couple of months
back. I've put the sim in my Orange contract N80 and registered it with
Orange, I have also put £5 credit on.

I'm told that I should receive text messages with settings. My phone is
still showing no signal - can the texts come with it in this state? Should I
just wait?

Thanks...

No and yes. But keep the phone switched off, switching on every 30
minutes or so to check.

What I had to do once was remove the battery as well to get the sim update!
