Managed to loose, or have stolen, 2 X Nokia 1101s on the London
Underground on Monday.
Have got both the phones barred and simcards blocked. Reported it to
Underground's lost property too.
I want to report the phones missing to the police as well, which
police do I call and will they put the IMEI's in a national database
of lost phones?
I live in Norwich, not London, so which police should I call?

The local police station where the phones we're lost/stolen from. I'll think
you'll find your local nick will say the same.

Are they really worth reporting? £20 each?

Of course they are worth reporting, if only to prevent some scumbag
making a profit from the theft of the phones.

True... but I would like to get them back if they're found. As
they've been blacklisted they can't be used so someone might just hand
them in. Tube Lost property and police have been notified.

The people to report it to are the British Transport Police. The relevant
area link is below as you didn't say which line or area of London this link
will give you the choice of areas covered.

Blacklisting only stops them being used on UK networks usually, that's where
it all goes wrong I'm afraid. My g/f had a phone stolen once 8310. Didn't
care too much for it was worth £80 on ebay at the time what put a grin on my
face was when ever the new owner started it up the phone, they would see a
picture of me and the g/f smiling. I had used logo manager for the purpose.

That sums up my feelings precisely. One was blacklisted within an hour
and the second within 48 hours.
