Skype on T-mobile Vario 2

I have downloaded SKYPE mobile to my Vario 2 which as someone on here said
T-mobile would not let you download SKYPE I was surprised it worked first
time and should quality was as clear as the PC.

Does anyone know how this costs out ? I am on a 20mb bundle. I have to ring
Japan 2/3 in the day and it would obviously be cheaper to use SKYPE rather
than mobile.

Anyone else use SKYPE via mobile ?

T-Mobile do not allow bar you from downloading Skype.

They do prohibit its use via GPRS/3G/HSPDA.

If they discover you're using it this way, they apparently reserve the
right to cancel any contract you may have with T-Mobile

You can of course use Skype via wifi (although maybe not T-Mobile wifi
hotspots?)

Another alternative for you is to use 07744 callthroughs to ring Japan
(comes out of inclusive mins).

I asked the guy at T-mobile if they had any problems with SKYPE on there
network and he said no ?
