Hi
We have Exchange Webmail access and it works great from a homes, other
sites, even over wireless networks, however some of our sales staff
have Orange 3G cards for when their out and about on their laptops. and
they can't get connected to the webmail exchange over this connection.
It comes up asking for the username and password several times then
says access denied.
I noticed someone else had a similer problem, but we're using Exchange
2000 and i didn't really follow the (use outlook 2003 / VPN / part). Is
anyone else having this problem or experiance of how to solve it?
Any help would be great,
thanks very much!!

Does this happen for all or some of your sales staff?

Blocking ports is, IMPO, a slippery slope for any provider to go down. I
would have thought customers who buy 3G cards would do so for the very need
of having email on the move and would not be happy if they discovered that
this was being blocked in anyway. Personally, I would think it was financial
business suicide for any mobile telco to do this - if true???
Have you looked into the MTU on the VPN software?

Hi
They all used to have access to the webmail feature when they first got
them, now none of them can access it.
Thanks

I use an Orange 3G datacard and Cisco VPN. It all works, and I also
connect to an exchange server once on the VPN.

I think it is, yes.
