    Hi

Thinking of getting this phone and 3g.co.uk states it has

    512 MB External/Removable memory

Does this mean a memory card just slots into it neatly somewhere or does it
need an additional adaptor to house the memory stick?

    Cheers
    James

Confusing; why 512mb? Memory stick Pro Duo's come in various sizes, and why
sandisk? I find sony memory stick duo to be much cheaper at certain times.

Yes, I can't see why it should be limited to 512, but that's what the spec
    says

Sandisk is just a brand so I would say it's irrelevent

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Can't go wrong for the price. Considering
my T610 has got 0.1 megapixel camera and 2MB of memory, the difference will
    be amazing :-)

It's not limited to 512, that's just what it comes with. I have a 1Gb card
in mine, some others have bought a 2Gb

It comes with a 512? Cool

I've just posted another thread about mp3's on this phone and perhaps you
    can help?

Does the mp3 player play any old mp3 file, or does it have to be licenced
etc by downloading a paid for mp3 from a site like iTunes?

You can play any MP3. The sound quality is not as good as the "Walkman"
branding might suggest. After the last firmware upgrade my W810i has a
hiss noticable when playing quiet sections. I still hear clicks and pops
not present on the source MP3s but not as many as there were before I
    upgraded the firmware.

It is unknown whether SE care enough to attempt to fix this with a
    further software upgrade...

I see a few complaints about this - personally mine seems fine, but hey
    ho...
