Nokia e61 is this a firmware bug or a faulty phone?

Please can you see if your e61 has these symptoms so I know whether to
send my new one back or await firmware update.

Everything works as normal and is impressive but:

If I select the silent profile and switch the phone off - either
straight away or sometime after - the phone will not switch off
completely. It just displays a blank white screen and is effectively
frozen. The only way to it to go off or switch back on and become
useable is to remove the battery. Then all subsequent power downs cause
the same symptoms until the phone is reset using the "orig phone
setting" function in the phonee settings submenu. The phone then
restarts itself and is completely fine until it's put back into silent
profile and switched off. I can replicate this behaviour without fail.
Also the phone is ok (switches off and on again normally) if has been
in silent profile when it's been on, just so long as it isn't powered
down when IN silent profile.
