Wasn't with Orange was it? If so it is a mistake: some people wrongly
get charged £10/Mb. If you call CS it should be corrected £3/Mb (?)
IIRC.

Welcome to the world of inflated GPRS pricing. I remember when it first
started and was £20 per Mb in some cases. Followed by some half wits
from the providers saying no one was using it because it was "too
technical".

Things have got a bit better since then though. T-mobile is one of the
best priced but not if you don't have Web'n'Walk: as you've seen the
price outside a bundle is awful. Ironically if you'd have been on PAYG
you'd have paid ~£2 for that lot.

Re: Disable internet W810i

And from
http://www.t-mobile.co.uk/web/ha/browse.do
Common Questions - Web N Walk on your Mobile -

"You'll get the Day Pass capped at £1 automatically if you are:

a pay as you go customer on Everyone, Mates Rates or Text Appeal
a U-Fix customer
a pay monthly customer who joined T-Mobile after 1 December 2006

If you're a pay monthly customer who joined before 1 December 2006,
call customer services on 150 and ask to opt in to the Day Pass.

To get the capped rate, you'll also need to have a web'n'walk
compatible phone. Check by looking for a web'n'walk icon in your
phone's menu, or at the bottom of your screen."
