Yes, that'll be it Jon. Well remembered!

Log in with your first number, and on the left handside is a link 'add
a new account'. From memory, you'll need the account number handy too.

On the left it says "choose another phone on this a/c to manage"
When I select one of the OVP-V numbers, I can select all the options, which
open in the same window, but the upgrade phone option opens another window
with the bit at the top right saying *my* number and the mention of the £250
upgrade fee! :-(
Help!!!

Sorted it now ....
Below my 250 upgrade fee there's a 'sign out' thingy. So, I signed out and
then signed back in with ...
One of the other numbers
My *same* a/c password
Then it asked for my a/c number and away to go.
:-))))
Presume that a NK6070 is easy to unlock is it???

I ordered a 'free' Nokia 6070 for my wife's OVP Virgin account, received
the confirming e-mail and then she got a text message saying "the Sony
Ericsson K300i is out of stock and the order has been cancelled"!! WTF??
I have just repeated the order for the free 6070. Might I end up with two
or yet another text message saying <another phone> is out of stock?
Anyone actually RECEIVED a Nokia 6070 yet?

I'm on OVP Virgin tarrif and they point blank refuse to do anything re
my phone or my (old) sim card unless I take out a monthly rental
contract.

I got the free upgrade on my account of Line 1 ovp virgin, Line 2 ED 50 ~
this now means I have to continue for another 12 months ;-)
Have given the free upgrade to my wife and just put her ovp virgin Sim in
and the phone is working a treat.
So in my case no.

If this follows the same form as last year, you need to do the
application from your account on their web page. Phoning Orange for an
upgrade on EQ: Virgin will bring a refusal or a request for big bucks.
I am sure that web ordering is an error or loophole and if they spot
the order on the way through, will stop it. Our family has 5 OVP
Virgin accounts at different addresses and we managed to get two
upgrades last year with one refused and one just ignored.
Have tried again this year and had two emails back confirming delivery
of two phones (Nokia 6070's for £0), one on Monday and one on Tuesday.
Lets see what happens.

I have two OVP Virgin accounts, but when I go to the site it only offers
an upgrade on one of them. How does the upgrade process work for this?
Do they send me an additional sim for the new phone?

You receive a new SIM with your new phone. There are details of an
0800 number to ring to register the new SIM. Shortly after this and
the ubiquitous SIM Updates your old SIM will stop working and the new
one will take over.

I got a completely free 6070 yesterday, having ordered via the web on
Thursday.
I think in the last twelve months I've spent less than £1 on it.
Twelve months ago I got a free K300i after a year of hardly using the
account either.

I can't get this to work. It won't accept the secondary number with the
original password as valid.
I can only get u/g prices for my primary phone. And then it won't give
me the price for the one I want (SE p990) - but I know that it's going
to be too expensive anyway - and maybe not such a good upgrade over the
p910.

Cheers for the info. Annoyingly the stupid Orange website is refusing
to accept my password. It also won't let me reset it online and rather
conveniently asks me to call their 50p/min support line. When I called
them they then said they couldn't help as they had 'insufficient
information on the screen' and that I would have to fill out the
'contact us' webform on the Orange website. What a stupid website!
Hopefully will be able to get it reset in time to still nab a phone in
this offer!
