On Mac, I use Blue Phone Elite:

Text messages can be copied from the phone via Bluetooth, and you can
use it to send texts from your computer (though you can do that using
the standard OS X Address Book)

For some reason my address book won't link to my phone when I am dialed
up but it will when the phone is not online.. Everything else seems to
be working OK now via bluetooth. Could this be because Virgin don't
cater for phone modems or is it something else?
