I've noticed that LivePVR and Blacklist apps sometimes need manually
restarting if the handset is power-cycled.

Yes, noticed that as well. Pain in the backside when I have to reset my N73
nearly every day.

I did have Smartphoneware's CallRecorder installed, but kept getting a beep
during calls, don't know if that automatically restarts after a reset
either?

I don't know. It says it 'starts with phone'.

I suspect I just need to learn another process.
