the interface looks nice but....

i've yet to meet anyone who thinks touch sensitive screens are better than
real, physical buttons on any consumer electronics you care to mention - in
fact they are downright horrible.

also the tech behind the phone seems old - 2 megapixel camera, no 3g - given
this, you have to wonder why the price is so high?

you ever had a Rio Carbon.............I think you would be astonished
at the far higher music quality.

With one proviso: the earbuds on the iPod and on the Carbon are
rubbish: with either you need to buy good ones if you want good sound.

I would suggest you read the spec of the iPhone before getting too excited.
Basically ... it's a toy

**** standby / talk time
No 3G
crap camera
God awful touch screen
etc etc
