Having placed 6 seemingly ignored orders last week, now all my 4 accounts
say: "Can't offer online upgrade" :-(
Has Orange twigged ?
Anyone else in the same situation ?
It just possible that they processed my orders but as Orange suspended my
Freeserve email address ('retrieving' it doesn't help :-() I have no way of
telling !
Regards,
Martin

It might be over. After one order, I looked at the same account. I
could have applied again, with a £250 upgrade fee. Now I've got the
same message as you.
On ordering, the webpage changed to a confirmation message, an email
came straightaway, another wehen it was ready to dispatch a few hours
later, and delivery was on Monday for an order at 4am Friday

Yeah I could have order in Friday but now have no upgrade options - was
waiting til day so I could get the phone delivered Wednesday. There is a
lesson there.

Yes.
A phone for the wife 'should' be delivered tomorrow after the empty box
saga.
Sister had her phone delivered last week.
Father gets 'we cannot offer you an upgrade online'.

I tried 3 times, on the third attempt:
Hello Mr. Michael Myers,
We have completed your order and it is now ready to be sent to you.
Your phone will be delivered on 15/01/2007 between 09:00 and 17:30.
Someone will need to sign for the phone.
Your phone will be sent to:
Mr. Michael Myers
*Adress/postcode removed*
Your order number is: 1XXXXXX

The thing is that there is no tracking, courier or anything metioned. Will this
turn up or is it another fob off?
Thanks,
Mike

Yep, just tried with four different accounts, and get 'we cannot offer you
an upgrade online'.

Tried for nokia 6070 for wife - arrived next day; for w300i for me at same
time - cancelled by Orange as "We don't do upgrades for OVP EQ Virgin".
Went back to site, asked for Nokia 6070 for me - arrived today.
I think they were OK when it was free (6070) but trying to pay 49.99 for
w300i brought it to attention of a Tubby who blocked it. Probably just
depended on who actually processed the order, whether they checked if it was
OK.
Now all seems completely stopped though.

I tried the upgrade for the first time for a Nokia 6111 (at £49.99) but
the order was cancelled by Orange.
Ordered again later the day they cancelled, this time a Nokia 6070
(free) -- that was delivered today.

My C600 was delivered, so third time lucky for me and by the looks of things
just in time!

I tried to upgrade three times, the first was ignored, the second
resulted in a rejection (via text message) and the third - five days
ago, was also ignored (so I thought).
For the last few days I've had the same "Can't offer upgrade" message
but for some reason out of the blue today I've received a confirmation
of despatch message and the 'phone should apparently be with me tomorrow.
It seems the show isn't quite over yet...
Simon.

I got turned down the first time. I tried again, heard nothing for a
week, then today I've had two phones delivered!

Hmm.. just make sure you check your bills for a possible £250 upgrade
fee for the second one!

I refused delivery of the second one. I'll be keeping an eye on the
phone bill though.

Chance would be a fine thing!

UPDATE: It arrived today, having apparently been sent to the wrong
Parcel-line delivery depot yesterday.
AND it's all there - not just an empty box like some have apparently
received!
