Have a Nokia 62301 that was originally on Vodaphone, though unlocked to all
networks. Now it has a Virgin Sim in it
and every 5 seconds it pops up "new voice message". Though there isn't any
    msgs of any sort.

Any idea how to cure this please ?

    turn off
put sim in another fone, turn on , leave on for a hour.

see if the Vm happens on that fone.

then turn off, n put sim back in 6230.
